Writing update
- It’s looking like a quiet May release at this point for Recruit, followed by a big splashy launch for the full Guild of Tokens book in June. Lots of news and updates coming next month, I promise!

Books I read
Three this month:
- Volume 1 of Battle Angel Alita. I saw the movie at the end of February and loved the world and the idea of the characters, but the execution was a bit lacking and the character development was a bit uneven. Turns out that a lot of the plot devices were taken directly from volume 1 of the manga. Interested to see how the story develops.
- On Power, by Robert Caro. This is an audiobook narrated by the legendary writer himself and talks about how he got his start as a reporter, and recounts his writing of The Power Broker and the multi-volume and still-ongoing Lyndon Johnson biography.
- Fool’s Quest, by Robin Hobb
