The good thing about producing your own audiobook is that you are free to try out new distribution platforms.
Case in point: Bandcamp. It’s more of a platform for music than audiobooks, but it has a small audiobook section and some of the best promotional tools and royalty structures that I’ve seen yet.
For instance, you can generate instant discount codes and also sell merchandise right from the album page (i.e. like a copy of the ebook version of your book). So if you’re an indie author and you aren’t exclusive to ACX, you should definitely consider selling your audiobooks via Bandcamp. Read More …
