It’s that time again, my monthly recap of my writing progress, interesting articles, videos, and podcasts I read/watched/listened to, and books I finished. Check out the past installments here.
Writing update
If you read my newsletter last month, you know that going forward, I’m planning on releasing each future entry in the series as one longer book rather than shorter novellas.
This is going to start with the first book itself, because as of this writing, I’m not planning to release Recruit as a stand-alone novella.
But don’t worry, because you’ll be able to get the full Guild of Tokens book for the same price as Recruit would have cost.
The book will be out in June and this will be a hard deadline for me, because I plan on entering Guild of Tokens in next year’s Self-Published Fantasy Blog Off (SPFBO for short), which opens for entries in mid-June.
(By the way, if you haven’t been following this year’s incarnation, go check out the finalists on Mark Lawrence’s blog for some great fantasy reads.)
Next month I will hopefully have some more news for you on a specific release date, along with the new cover and a big audiobook announcement.
